No matter.

Josh's personal journey is inspiring.  He openly shares his experiences with substance use disorder and mental health challenges. These struggles have lead to some life-changing decisions. However, Josh's true character, strength and resililience have gotten him to where he is today, a successful therapist, a devoted husband and father and a fierce advocate for those struggling with substance use and mental health issues.

Josh is not afraid to question the status quo in the mental healthcare and substance use recovery systems. He is a strong advocate for harm reduction and patient-centered therapeutic methods. Bio

Located in Newton/Metro-Boston, Joshua specializes in working with individuals and families navigating substance use and recovery.

"After seven years in a clinical setting, I transitioned to private practice, where I've spent the past seven-plus years helping clients and families at any and all stages of recovery. I believe in radical autonomy, and I work alongside each person to discover the path to their healing. As a harm reduction advocate, I focus on education, safety, and reshaping relationships with substances. I'm also very much in support of abstinence. The ultimate harm-reduction approach, if you think about it. My approach is collaborative—together, we'll work to uncover your expertise and create the change you seek."
