Meet Tim Lineaweaver
Author, Counselor, and Recovery Writer
Tim Lineaweaver is a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC-1) who has devoted more than three decades to helping individuals heal from addiction, trauma, and depression.
Clean and sober since 1984, Tim writes with the insight of both a clinician and a survivor. His work reflects deep honesty, humor, and empathy for those navigating recovery.
Tim has written for The Good Men Project, taught at Lesley University, and helped found the Cape Cod and Islands Suicide Prevention Coalition. His upcoming memoir Blasted is due in early 2026.
Tim lives with his wife, Tessa, a professional potter. Together they split their time between Woods Hole, MA, and Gulfport, FL.
