Author of the Month Belinda Morey

I used to count shots, hits, and milligrams. Now I count days of not using meth, opiate, benzos, and collections of other substances, which I used to think were fun treats. And between those two realities, I find myself on both sides of the counselor's desk – the first as a client trying to keep my shit together.

Meet Belle Morey:

Author, Blogger, Counselor

Belinda is a substance use disorder counselor with a passion for helping others find their path to recovery. Her approach is rooted in empathy, professionalism, and a healthy dose of dark humor – "Because if we can't laugh at the absurdity of life, we'll cry."

Belle is committed to meeting individuals where they are, whether in person or via telehealth platforms. She believes in the power of personalized care and collaborating with clients to create treatment plans that actually work for their lives.

Besides her work as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor at Family Health Center of Marshfield's Alcohol and Drug Abuse Recovery Center and as an Accountability Coach for IGNTD, an innovative online addiction platform, she produces a very successful blog, Progress is Progress Mile or a Millimeter
