Publishers Note
Every one of Kristen's personal stories, opinions, and essays about life, love, loss, and liquor captivates me with her vulnerability, courage, and resilience. Kristen's take on sobriety, drinking, aging, grief, and health, seasoned with her own brand of humor, makes me want to publish her frequently throughout her ongoing journey toward sobriety. After decades of using alcohol to cope—and losing her big sister to cirrhosis—Kristen knew something had to change. She also chose to change not just for herself but to turn her experience, heartache, and creativity into something that helps others.
